Never Forget 1985

Philadelphia Printworks remembers the names + lives lost after Philadelphia city's deadly attack against free-living, Black people in their homes in West Philadelphia in 1985.

On May 13th, 1985 Philadelphia Police dropped a bomb onto the roof of the MOVE home killing 5 members, 5 of their children, and destroying 65 homes.

On November 12, 2020 City Council of Philadelphia apologized for the devastation and established an annual day of observation, reflection and re-commitment to remember the MOVE bombing on May 13th of each year.

This t-shirt created by Philadelphia Printworks remembers the lives lost on that day.
